Chicago Murals

From championship sports teams to world-class restaurants, Chicago is home to a lot of the greats. There are many different things to do and explore in the city.  When I moved to Chicago from Texas four years ago, I discovered an underground art world. I became fascinated with the beautiful murals and wall art throughout the city, and I began to research the different artists. The murals are hidden gems in the city that make Chicago beautiful!

Artists use murals to express themselves and showcase their talent. Through their art, they can convey a message, sometimes without words. It was exciting to discover new murals in the city. I have connected with artists and other bloggers who love mural art just as much as I do. These hidden gems have allowed me to become familiar with different areas of the city, famous streets, and landmarks. I have enjoyed exploring new places and seeing life differently through the world of art.

I believe that perspective is key to our beautiful journeys, and if we learn to look at the world around us, we will discover hidden gems that enhance our lives. All of our experiences create sweet memories. When life gets busy and hectic, finding murals around the city helps me to appreciate the beauty that surrounds me.

It is possible to live within the four walls of our homes and miss out on discovering the world around us. Chicago is a large city that has so much to offer. Whether you have lived here your entire life or are new to calling it home, this city is full of endless opportunities.
